Live Monitoring

AmTel’s Live Monitoring enables you to monitor real time inmate telephone activity. A single screen displays control system phone activity and all call information at a glance. Alert capabilities let you set watches for called numbers, PIN usage, and phone usage. Streaming audio lets you point, click, and listen to active calls unobtrusively from the same monitoring screen.

Live Monitoring works in conjunction with the WatchDog ITS™ integrated recording capabilities; you can listen to calls on site or remotely without interfering with call recording. Live Monitoring provides your intelligence staff with a comprehensive level of real time inmate telephone information which can be substantiated by printable reports and transferable recordings.

Live Monitoring provides a live-action view of the inmate telephone activity on the WatchDog ITS™ call control system. The screen is divided into System View; Call Info; Call History; and Call Alert History.

Details displayed in Live Monitoring are: Phone Line ID ; Phone Description; Called Number, PIN (inmate’s ID); Inmate’s Name; Call Limit; and Call Progress- the amount of time the calls has been in progress. Live Monitoring scans calling activity for calls that meet the watch Criteria. When a match is found, the call triggers a call alert. Watches are useful for call control and intelligence gathering. You can define a watch to look for PIN ID, Called Number, or Phone Line.

Additionally, you can keep track of watch details such as:
*A classifying watch name;
*Purpose of Watch;
*Contact information for person who requested the watch
