GuardDog Officer Check-In
The Gaurd Dog correctional officer tracking utility is an integrated
feature of AmTel's WatchDog Inmate Telephone System. GuardDog uses your
existing inmate telephone infrastructure to provide reporting information
necessary to monitor the officers as they make their rounds. RFID and
VoicePrint Verification software are available to ensure the identity
of each individual gaurd. All GuardDog records are stored centrally at
our collocation facilities and cannot be altered in any way.

GAURDDOG PROVISIONING
AmTel will survey your facility and devise a comprehensive
set of checkpoints at key points along your officer's round responsibilities.
Checkpoints will be programmed into the WatchDog Inmate Telephone
System and assigned a special key code known only to Administrative
level staff.
Guards will be assigned personal identification numbers by AmTel
staff at the time of installation.
(If RFID is installed, the RFID tag or bracelet will be logged
for each officer during the installation process for future indentity
verification)
(If VoicePrint verification is enabled, each gaurd will be logged
in by AmTel personnel at the time of installation for future identity
verification)
HOW IT WORKS
Once the officer's identity is established, the GaurdDog system
will log the time, date, location, and digitally record the officers
name or keyphrase for retrieval during the reporting process.
