Inmate Voice Mail eXchange
AmTel’s voice mail exchange system is specifically designed for
use in correctional facilities. Programmable security features such as
recording, live monitoring, and message time limits ensure the proper
implementation for this demanding environment. Completely integrated into
the WatchDog ITS™ call control systems, it requires no additional
hardware.
Reduce Administrative Burden
Currently, facility personnel are continually disturbed by message requests.
Allowing inmate families and friends to leave brief voicemail messages,
you will alleviate this responsibility from facility staff. Inmates can
retrieve these messages directly from their existing cell block telephones,
therefore no contact is made with the corrections officers.
Increase Facility Revenue
With a variety of payment options, VMX provides an additional revenue
stream. Since messages can only be left from the outside, outbound call
revenues are not affected. In fact, the voice mail system has been proven
to increase outbound calling revenues via messages left by friends and
family members with a specific time and place to reach them.
