iVoip Connect

iVoip connect uses a WatchDog certified device that connects to the family’s existing broadband Internet service. Because voice sessions originate at the facility and terminate only at the pre-approved device, there is no chance for unwanted 3-Way calling or call forwarding.

The Aquifer Security portal makes sure only approved communications take place between the family and the facility. All traditional inmate phone system features are available using this service such as call recording and monitoring. Amtel is commited to providing a means to connect families with members that are incarcerated in various types of corrections facilities.

Voice services are handled using the Amtel’s WatchDog ITS calling system. This system can be deployed within a facility or at one of the centralized processing centers. WatchDog handles all aspects of the voice session automatically and applies all necessary security features.

The WatchDog can meet all requirements of the facilities for monitoring and recording of sessions. Sessions can be originated on inmate phones connected directly at a WatchDog located at the facility or transported from the facility over a secure voice VPN to a central WatchDog platform at Amtel’s operation center. Once within the network, the session is directed to the Amtel Device located in the home of the subscriber. The device located in the home can only receive calls from the pre-subscribed facility and can only originate calls to the customer support center.
