Toll Limits
For our direct dialing plans, the amount of credit you are eligible for will be limited by ATN to $100.00 for overall usage. There is also a daily limit of $25.00 and a seven-day limit of $75.00. Customers exceeding this limit will be blocked from receiving further collect calls. A Discount Dialing Plan will be mandatory for all customers blocked for excessive credit balances. Once your account is set up as prepay, it will stay prepay. Credit limits are subject to change without notice.
DISCOUNT DIALING PLAN
Customers can avoid any interruption in service and save up to 10%, by utilizing a Discount Dialing Plan. Discount Dialing accounts can only be set up by the phone owner. Accounts blocked for non-payment, bad debt, or collections activities, will be required to first settle any outstanding amounts due on account, prior to the establishment of a prepaid or debit calling program. Customers with newly issued phone numbers that wish to receive calls from a specific inmate facility, can also receive calls using a prepaid or debit calling plan before the phone number validates. Collect calls will be denied to cellular phones, CLEC'S (Competitive Local Exchange Carriers), un-billable exchanges, overdue accounts, and phone numbers having a collect call block on the phone line. This will require a mandatory Discount Dialing account.
DAILY AND WEEKEND MINIMUM FOR EXISTING DISCOUNT DIALING ACCOUNTS
During the week, you must maintain a certain daily average balance for your line to remain open at the end of the business day. On the weekend you must maintain your daily average multiplied by three, or four if it's a holiday weekend. For example, if you typically receive $15.00 in calls on a daily basis, you will be required to have a minimum balance of no less than $45.00 at the end of business Friday for your line to remain unblocked over the weekend (Fri., Sat., Sun.). Also, if your balance during the week is less than the cost of a single call, or your balance over the weekend is less than your set weekend minimum, your line will be blocked either until the next business day, or until additional funds are posted to your account.
Our Discount Dialing Plan relies heavily on the judgment of our Customer Service Representatives to determine if your balance is sufficient for your account to remain unblocked at the close of business each day.
Example - 4:00 pm Thursday. Prepay balance $3.26, average number of calls per day - 7 at $2.10 each for a total or $14.70. It is obvious that you would be able to receive one call, however you do not have enough to maintain your current average daily balance of $14.70, so your line will be blocked until additional funds are posted to your account. Should you continue to exceed funds applied to your account, a higher average daily balance will be estimated by a Customer Service Representative and required to allow the line to remain unblocked.
